What happen to MESOMORPH by APS?

APS Nutrition created MESOMORPH to be a world-class pre-workout stimulant. Mesomorph is an extreme high energy, vein popping, and super long-lasting pre workout. Delivering on almost all its promises, mesomorph delivers full doses on all its key ingredients including DMAA.

Mesomorph’s most potent ingredient was DMAA aka Geranaburn (1,3 dimethylamylamine) which is extracted out of geranium oil.
Aside from DMAA, other key ingredients of mesomorph includes Beta Alanine (to improve muscle performance), L-Citrulline DL-Malate (for faster recovery), Glucoronolactone (to improves effects of stimulants), methylxanthine anhydrous (another potent stimulant).
Throughout the years mesomorph has been re-formulated a few times, each time the list of ingredients have been tweaked a bit and a little more DMAA was added. The last tweak of mesomorph contained 65g of DMAA.
A few months ago around October 2017 the FDA finally got fed up enough to stop mesomorph from having DMAA has its main ingredients. This was a devastating blow for APS which has been forced to stop production of mesomorph for at least 1 week. Eventually mesomorph was reformulated again with Senegalia Berlandieri (Berlandier Acacia, Guajillo Acacia, guajillo, huajillo).

Senegalia Berlandieri is a plant / flower from south and west of Texas. Senegalia has been known to be able to produce meth/amp from its acacia rigidula. As for now, no one is sure why APS decided to use Senegalia to replace its banned ingredient DMAA.
Mesomorph has been back in circulation with Senegalia for a few months and sales have dropped because its potency has been limited.
Mesomorph with DMAA was definitely a loved and very much in demand product amongst body builders. However the FDA and many other government health departments obviously thinks otherwise. I am sure the fight over DMAA will not end with loss of DMAA from mesomorph.
